Mike Vrabel seemingly buys wife apology gift amid Dianna Russini photo scandal

Mike Vrabel was seen buying a gift in Utah amid the photo scandal with sports reporter Dianna Russini.

According to photos obtained by Page Six, Vrabel was spotted at Salt Lake City International Airport on Saturday, April 25, seemingly buying a gift for his wife, Jen Vrabel. The outlet reports that the baby blue sweatsuit is at a store called Hip & Humble.

The New England Patriots coach and his wife own a home in Park City, Utah, as he mentioned in a The Athletic interview back in 2025. While it could be possible that Vrabel was shopping for his wife, Jen was not seen in the photos.

The Utah shopping trip follows Vrabel holding a press conference before the start of the 2026 NFL Draft last weekend.

“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people I care about about — with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. In order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me,” said Vrabel, per Doug Kyed of The Boston Herald on X, formerly Twitter.

“What I can promise you is that my family, this organization, the team staff,  coaches, everybody, and fans most importantly, will get the best version of me going forward,” he added, per Mark Daniels of MassLive.

Earlier this month, photos of Russini and Vrabel were seen at an Arizona luxury resort where they were locking hands. After those photos were released, several other photos have come to light. So far, photos of the two have been made public via outlets like Page Six, TMZ, and The New York Post, showing the two at a casino shortly after Vrabel was fired from the Tennessee Titans in 2024, and another where they were seemingly kissing in a New York City bar.

He missed Day 3 of the NFL Draft but has since returned to the facility. While Vrabel is still with the Patriots, Russini who was an NFL insider and reporter at The Athletic has resigned from her position.
