Michael Olise future prediction made as Real Madrid handed transfer warning

Real Madrid have been predicted to miss out on a statement signing of Michael Olise this summer.

The 24-year-old is one of the most talented players in world football as he shines for both France and Bayern Munich.

Olise has provided six assists for his country at the World Cup off the back of a season in which he hit 53 goal contributions at club level.

Bayern have insisted that the winger is not for sale, regardless of the offers that could be submitted for him.

Real Madrid are one interested club, and it has been reported that Olise has informed his France teammates that he wants to join them.

However, their hopes of signing the former Crystal Palace star seem to have suffered another blow.

‘Zero’ possibility for Madrid

Speaking to BILD via @iMiaSanMia on X, Bayern and Germany icon Lothar Matthaus believes the Bundesliga champions will keep hold of their man.

“Personally, I can understand wanting to play for Real Madrid. Every player wants to play for Real Madrid at some point,” Matthaus said.

“But Bayern won’t even entertain any talks. They’ll just laugh the headlines off.

“I estimate the possibility of Olise playing for Real Madrid next year to be practically zero. I think Bayern will extend his contract and increase his salary.”

BILD have also claimed that Bayern want to increase Olise’s salary to €25million-a-year, which is around £21.3m-a-year.

This roughly equates to a staggering wage worth £410,000-a-week.

Olise has had a successful rise in world football following youth stints at Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Reading gave him his first senior experience before Palace signed him in 2021 for a reported £8m.

He hit 16 goals and 25 assists over 90 appearances in all competitions to become one of the Premier League’s bright prospects.

Chelsea nearly signed him in 2023 but he agreed to a new deal at Selhurst Park, before Bayern bought him a year later for £60m.

Olise has totalled 42 goals and 54 assists across two seasons, doing so in 107 outings.

Two Bundesliga titles have also come his way in Munich, as well as the league’s Player of the Season award for 2025/26.
