Knicks NBA Finals tickets at MSG already setting price records

The New York Knicks are officially heading to the NBA Finals after their blowout win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The Knicks will now have more than a week to rest up before they take on either the Oklahoma City Thunder or San Antonio Spurs on the game’s biggest stage.

The Knicks will start this series out on the road before returning to New York City for Games 3 and 4, and a Game 6 if necessary, and as many expected, ticket prices to get into Madison Square Garden for the festivities are skyrocketing.

“TickPick revealed after the Knicks secured their sweep of the Cavaliers in the conference finals Monday night that the get-in prices for Games 3 and 4 were $3,745 and $3,464, respectively, which would be ‘the most expensive NBA tickets on record,'” reported Ryan Giancola of the New York Post on X, formerly Twitter.

Knicks prices are already far and away the highest in the NBA, thanks primarily to the team’s location in the mecca that is New York City, and now that the team is back in the Finals for the first time in nearly three decades, it will cost fans several thousand dollars just to get into the nosebleeds section.

Meanwhile, some seats down by the court have been listed as high as $100,000 on resale sites, although money isn’t an issue for most of the high-profile guests that occupy the floor seats at the Garden.

Whoever the Knicks end up playing in the Finals will more than likely be favored, but New York would certainly like to see the Western Conference Finals drag on to a Game 7 so that the winner is worn down by the time they reach the Knicks matchup.
