Knicks’ Josh Hart reacts to cheapest NBA Finals Game 3 ticket prices at MSG pushing $10K

The New York Knicks are back home with a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, and many of their fans are excited to see if they can finish it off in four games. Unfortunately, some of the fans won’t have the luxury of being in Madison Square Garden, as some of the lowest-priced tickets are listed as $9,000, according to Ishika Dadhwal of Yahoo Sports.

“Reports suggest that the lowest prices to get in are hovering between $9,000 and $11,000, while top-end seats have climbed toward, and in some cases surpassed, the $100,000 mark,” Dadhwal wrote.

Josh Hart was asked about coming back home for Game 3, and he mentioned the ridiculous ticket prices.

“I kinda wish the ticket prices weren’t as crazy as they were. I feel like a lot of people who have been waiting on this moment for a long time are unfortunately not able to get into the building, with the cheapest ticket being seven or eight thousand dollars. That’s ridiculous,” Hart said.

Jalen Brunson was also asked about the fans before Game 3 and said he doesn’t even want to know how crazy the streets are going to be.

“Not until it’s over,” Brunson said.

There’s no doubt that the Knicks have the best fanbase in the NBA, and whether they’re on the road or at home, they’re going to show up. Throughout the postseason, fans have flooded the opposition’s arena, and it almost feels like  Madison Square Garden wherever they go.

It would be better if the tickets weren’t so expensive, but the arena is going to be packed out regardless. Best believe the fans are going to be out on the streets celebrating as well. Unfortunately, they may not have any watch parties for Game 3 with Donald Trump set to make an appearance.
