Knicks’ Josh Hart issues hilarious threat to fans before show’s season premiere

New York Knicks guard Josh Hart is the king of his own world right now.

After helping the Knicks end their 53-year title drought, Hart has been enjoying the perks of being a champion. He and teammate Jalen Brunson were invited to throw the ceremonial pitches at Yankee Stadium, they guested on comedian Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show, they got ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith to apologize in public, and, perhaps most importantly, Hart said he has not paid for a meal yet since they won the championship.

Now, he is cherishing his free time, and part of the perks of being a champion is that he can make any declaration. That’s exactly what he did, issuing a hilarious threat to fans about the latest season of HBO’s “House of the Dragon.”

“I’ll be on the plane when HOD premieres. If you tweet about it, I will block you,” wrote Hart on X.

The third season of “House of the Dragon” premiered on Sunday, receiving positive reviews.

Fans had funny replies to Hart’s stern decree.

“Only if you promise not to go to White House,” said @BrooklynBoyB.

“I haven’t seen it yet. Is it any good? Btw, is your wife pregnant from the parade?” asked @ButtonsSte41042.

“Ain’t nothing different about how you tweet now vs. 2014. Never change,” wrote @reldrago.
“You have Wi-Fi, my guy,” reminded @KissMyNike.

“He dies, Josh. Whoever you think it might be, it is!” commented @docczynn.

Obviously, Hart, the King of House Hustle, has been closely following the fantasy-drama series, which came out in 2022. The first two seasons were hailed by many.

But of course, Hart’s favorite season was when the Knicks won the championship.
