Knicks fans can relive nail-biting Game 2 final shot thanks to Ben Stiller’s videos
In the waning seconds of Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, Victor Wembanyama missed a shot that would’ve won his team the contest.
As has become tradition, Knicks superfan Ben Stiller was recording parts of the game on his iPhone, including the last few stress-inducing seconds.

Being in enemy territory, the San Antonio crowd was loudly chanting for the home team. Stephon Castle inbounded it to De’Aaron Fox, who then gave it to Wemby for the last shot. Wembanyama missed, giving New York a 2-0 lead in the series.
The Knicks barely held on to beat the Spurs in NBA Finals Game 2

It wasn’t always pretty, but the Knicks won Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Friday, June 5, 2026, to give themselves a 2-0 lead as the series heads to New York.
They were up big at one point late in the contest. However, the Spurs charged back, and the game went back and forth in the closing minutes.
Ultimately, the Knicks held on, largely thanks to a mistake by Wemby. He threw a pass off a teammate’s back, resulting in a steal before he fouled Jalen Brunson, who made one of his two free throws. This gave New York a lead, which they held onto after successfully defending the last-second inbound play.
Games 3 and 4 will be played in New York City at Madison Square Garden on Monday, June 8, and Wednesday, June 10. If Games 5, 6, and 7 are necessary, they will be played on Saturday, June 13, Tuesday, June 16, and Friday, June 19.
So far, the Knicks have been dominating the series in many ways. The team’s captain, Brunson, was inefficient again in Game 2 (making seven of 25 shots). Luckily, Karl-Anthony Towns stepped up in a big way, making eight of 12 shots for 21 points. He also had a crucial dunk over Wemby and played good defense on him throughout.
