Knicks fan Ben Stiller puts on media boots before NBA Finals Game 3 vs. Spurs
The New York Knicks have a 2-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals and are headed back home for Game 3 on Monday night. Ahead of the pivotal Game 3, Mike Brown’s club practiced in front of the media on Sunday. Among the assembled media members was Knicks celebrity superfan Ben Stiller, catching a glimpse of his favorite team.

Stiller has been courtside throughout the Knicks’ playoff run, both at home and on the road. His reactions, caught by the television cameras, have gone viral, but so have his unique perspective videos posted to social media. Stiller, the director of Apple TV+’s Severance, was shooting some video on Sunday.

Stiller was not the only celebrity Knicks fan in attendance at Sunday’s practice. Rapper Fat Joe was also in attendance, and both got a shoutout from Brown in his press conference.
"This is a great day for me. For the first time, I got a chance to meet Ben Stiller. I got my man Fat Joe sitting in the back. This is a great day for Mike Brown!"

“This is a great day for Mike Brown today,” the coach said. “The first time I got a chance to meet Ben Stiller…I actually gave him a handshake and a hug. I got my guy, Fat Joe, sitting in the back. This is a great day for Mike Brown!”
Stiller, Fat Joe, Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Mariska Hargitay, Edie Falco, and, of course, Spike Lee have all been spotted at playoff games. Some of those celebs have hit the road, and Cleveland native Travis Kelce and his fiancée Taylor Swift caught them for Game 3 against the Cavaliers.
The Knicks are on one of the greatest runs in the history of the NBA, winning 13 consecutive games in the playoffs. The first 12 games were 10-point victories, while they won Game 2 against the Spurs by just one. That’s bringing in all of the big names for Game 3, including US President Donald Trump and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
The Knicks and Spurs play Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday at 8:30 p.m.
