Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. support ex-teammate Desmond Bane at Game 4 vs. Pistons
The Orlando Magic are looking to take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons on Monday night, and they’ve got a couple of NBA players in attendance to support. At least, Desmond Bane does.
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant and Utah Jazz star Jaren Jackson Jr. were both seen courtside at Game 4 of the Magic’s home game against the Detroit Pistons.

Desmond Bane has played 395 regular season games and is making his 31st playoff appearance in Game 4. 313 of those regular season games and 27 of those playoff appearances came with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Bane has played 260 of his games alongside Jaren Jackson Jr. and 229 of those games alongside Ja Morant.
Back in January, Desmond Bane discussed the the trade rumors surrounding Ja Morant’s name.
“You wrap your arms around anybody that’s got that type of spotlight or anything like that going on with him,” Bane said.
“Ja just wants to play basketball and be in a place where he feels valued. And, hopefully, if it doesn’t happen in Memphis, he gets that, you wherever his next stop is.”
This season has been Bane’s healthiest by far, playing in all 82 games during the regular season and averaging 20.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. He also had a very efficient season once again, shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from three.
Bane had one of the best shooting games of his NBA playoff career in Game 3 against the Pistons, finishing with 25 points and seven rebounds while shooting 7-of-9 from beyond the arc.
