Is Jalen Wiliams returning from injury for Game 4 vs. Lakers as Thunder go for sweep?

The Oklahoma City Thunder will look to stay unblemished in the playoffs and complete a sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers in their second-round series. The Thunder will take on the Lakers in Game 4 at Crypto.com on Monday.

The Thunder eliminated the Phoenix Suns in four games in the first round.

Even without Jalen Williams, who is sidelined by a hamstring injury, Oklahoma City has had no trouble at all in beating the Lakers, winning by an average margin of 19.6 points in the first three games of their best-of-seven matchup.

Williams has not played since Game 2 against the Suns.

Nothing has changed for the 25-year-old Williams, as he remains out, according to the NBA’s injury report.

Usually, a hamstring injury takes multiple weeks to heal, so Williams could be sidelined for a few more games.

The Thunder have hardly missed the one-time All-Star, with Ajay Mitchell playing extremely well. He is coming off a 24-point performance in Game 3. He also had four rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals. He shot 10-of-17 from the field.

Mitchell is averaging 20.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.0 steals against the Lakers.

OKC also has other wing players who can step up at any given moment, including Cason Wallace, Alex Caruso, Jared McCain, Isaiah Joe, and Aaron Wiggins. So Williams can take his sweet time in fully recovering.

After all, it looks like they will have another deep run.
