Inside $2.2bn NFL stadium revealed as new ‘stolen’ uniforms and logo slammed after leak
Tennessee Titans fans have been treated to a first look at their new logo, uniforms and stadium all in the same week.
It is a new dawn in Nashville with over $270 million splurged in free agency to build a team around former No. 1 pick Cam Ward.

And the transformations are not limited to the roster with a stunning new home being built in the shadow of Nissan Stadium.
Expected to open in 2027, the project has cost around $2.2 billion.
The latest renderings show exactly where that money went, showing off a huge video screen and clear roof with sunlight streaming in.
Also featured are the franchise’s new logo and uniforms, confirming a leak from Tuesday.
It is the third look to drop since the franchise became the Titans in 1999.
The ‘Titans blue’ jerseys include three stars in a nod to the Volunteer State’s three divisions and a 6-String Stripe pay homage to Music City.
A shield forms part of the logo with blue, white and red along with a letter T and three stars.
“We had players that were literally in the locker room after games not wanting to take off the jerseys,” Burke Nihill, the Titans’ president and CEO, said. “These are NFL players who played through high school and college and in the pros, and there was something special about the pride that they felt wearing that color scheme.”
Titans reveal brand new uniforms
A reveal party on Thursday night featured Titans stars past and present.
“Today is about honoring over 65 years of our organization while confidently stepping into the next chapter, and I couldn’t be more excited for our players, our city, and our fans to wear this identity with pride,” owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement.

The franchise’s career rushing leader Eddie George explained: “We built this legacy play by play, heartbreak by heartbreak, victory by victory.
“And now, the baton has been passed to a new generation.”
There were many delighted fans in the social media comments, but others felt the team had borrowed too heavily from its history as the Houston Oilers.
“Those colors belong to Houston,” one posted.
“All this off season hype to get 4 wins,” added another.
“Looks like a UFL uni,” exclaimed a third.

“Stolen from the Oilers,” insisted a fourth.
The stadium itself wasn’t immune from criticism with some questioning the decision to reduce the capacity to 60,000 and others mocking its appearance.
“It looks like a giant HVAC unit,” one said on X.
“They should put a lid on it. Maybe a furry lid cover from the 70s,” another wrote, implying the stadium looks like a toilet bowl.
“Building a new stadium that only holds 60,000 fans seems crazy to me,” a third suggested, taking a shot at the capacity.
“These new stadiums have absolutely no soul,” a fourth claimed.
Incoming head coach Robert Saleh will now focus on making a team fit for its new home and uniforms.
There are still plenty of holes on the roster and the No. 4 pick in April’s NFL Draft offers the potential to pair Ward with a gifted young athlete.
