Furious Pool star offers to fight fan outside after making crude gesture in wild altercation
Pool star Jayson Shaw made a crude gesture towards a fan during an angry altercation at the Mosconi Cup.
The Scot, who is captaining Team Europe in the famous event, was left furious by a person in the stands after a match.

Shaw beat Team USA’s Skyler Woodward on Wednesday, to give Europe a 3-0 lead in pool’s equivalent to the Ryder Cup.
But just as the Ryder Cup has its heated moments, tension was certainly raised following his impressive win.
Footage shows Shaw looking up to the top corner of the stand inside the iconic Alexandra Palace towards a fan.
He first smiled at them, however, things quickly turned angry, with the seven-time Mosconi Cup champion reacting.
Shaw performed multiple crude gestures as things got more and more aggressive, before he pointed out the fan.
The 37-year-old then walked forward, pointing his cue angrily at them and shouting, with footage picking up a muffled: “Watch, watch, watch…wait until you go outside!”
His anger continued to spill over moments later, as he walked towards the corner where the person he was arguing with was standing.
He shouted angrily and again pointed at them before walking back to his corner with his cue.
As the altercation was ongoing, commentators said: “Now someone really has upset Jayson Shaw here.
“Let’s hope that does not affect his equilibrium.”

Shaw’s anger didn’t end there either, as he then walked back out of his corner and spoke to the USA Team about the fan.
He pointed up to the stands with his cue again, whilst in conversation with American star Fedor Gorst.
But after that, things calmed and he returned for a sip of water.
Shaw sparks rivalry
Shaw had already set the stall out for the Mosconi Cup to be a tense one, hitting out at Team USA before the event.
Team Europe have won 15 of 18 meetings since 2007 and this is the Scottish star’s 10th appearance of his career.
Speaking ahead of the action, he said: “We play our game and get in front, they’ll crumble. They do it all the time.

“We can see it in their faces – that’s the difference between us and them!”
Shaw added: “When we’re down we keep fighting, when they’re down they give in and we can smell it and see it.
“If we get off to a good start, we’ll crush them. We’re here to win – they’re here to get paid.”
‘A great start’
Speaking after Team Europe’s 4-0 win on the opening day of the Mosconi Cup, Shaw didn’t mention his altercation.
But he did celebrate the perfect first outing, saying: “It was a great start for us tonight. That was the goal – go out, put the pressure on straight away, and we delivered.
“It feels great playing in front of this crowd. The atmosphere is amazing, and by Friday and Saturday the place will be absolutely full.
“Then these guys will experience what the Mosconi Cup is really about.”
