Alpinira

Alpinira is a sister to Arc winner Alpinista so fetched a hefty sum acquired by Amo Racing but didn’t go too well at Newbury on debut placing seventh of nine.

That said, Alpinista also took some time before settling in and really getting the wins going, despite winner her debut over 7f.

Alpinira steps up immediately to 1m4f though which surely suits and this Frankel filly has all the pedigree to suggest she’s going to love this trip.

Ruby Red Gove

Ought to be taken seriously given her surprising 18/1 victory last time out.

That was her first run on turf and that might have just been the change needed to get her winning again.

Now comes against geldings but is an attractive each-way price regardless, dangerously unexposed on turf.

Gorgeous Mr George

Has run at Yarmouth a staggering 11 times accounting for half of his career runs.

From those 11 though he’s won at the course four times and three of those wins have come on good to firm ground in the heat of the summer.

He won last week by over two lengths and despite the rise is only given a 3lb rise.

Being four-years-old does mean he carries a little extra than his three-year-old rivals though still appeals more than those despite the weight differences.
