First Trailer for Kiyoshi Kurosawa's 'Kokurojo' Feudal-Era Mystery Film
Shochiku has revealed a first look teaser trailer for Kokurojo, the latest film made by acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Kiyoshi Kurosawa. He already released his most recent film Cloud in theaters just last year and also filmed this. A gripping, large-scale psychological mystery set in the Warring States period, where the conflicting ambitions of various characters collide! A murder in the castle's closed room and a series of bizarre incidents. The lord and his imprisoned genius strategist confront the mystery. Starring Masahiro Motoki, Masaki Suda, Yuriko Yoshitaka, Takashi Aoki, Ryota Miyadate, Tasuku Emoto, and Joe Odagiri. Set during the Feudal era in Japan, this is Kiyoshi Kurosawa's very first period piece feature film. This looks like an intense and thrilling tale set in the past. Shochiku will give it a road tour release in Japan first this year and this will probably show up at other film festivals around the world later. Get a look below.
