Even Mike Tirico couldn’t believe stacked celebrity row during Knicks’ Game 5 blowout win vs. Hawks
The stars were out for Game 5 between the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden, ranging from superfans like Timothée Chalamet and Ben Stiller, along with their partners Kylie Jenner and Christine Taylor, to SNL alums like Tracy Morgan and Tina Fey.
Even Mike Tirico was in shock with how many stars there were on celebrity row, saying, “Sometimes you say celebrity row at a game, and it’s one or two people… this is an entire celebrity row.”

Edie Falco was first shown before the camera cut to Stiller and Taylor. Chalamet and Jenner were shown next before it went to Fey and Morgan.

The aforementioned names weren’t the only celebrities at the game. The NBA’s website included pictures of other stars like Amy Schumer and Gaten Matarazzo at the Garden. Common, Jennifer Hudson, and Stephen Colbert all made the “Who’s in the House” segment on the jumbotron.

Other New York sports legends like Cam Skattebo, Carmelo Anthony, Justin Tuck, Tim Thomas, JR Smith, and Patrick Ewing were also at the game.
The Knicks showed out in front of the star-studded crowd. They beat the Hawks by 29 points in dominant fashion. New York has blown out Atlanta in two straight games after losing back-to-back by one point.
Jalen Brunson played especially well, scoring a series-high 39 points. He was extremely efficient throughout, making 15 of his 23 shots from the floor.
Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby both had double-doubles as well. Towns had 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Anunoby had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
More importantly, the Knicks held the Hawks’ stars in check. CJ McCollum was the only member of the team’s starting five to not score more than 10, logging only six points. He didn’t make any three-pointers either. Even Jonathan Kuminga, who dominated Games 2 and 3, scored just 13 points off the bench.
