Eagles rumors: Adam Schefter picks a side on will-they-won’t-they A.J. Brown trade saga
The Philadelphia Eagles just cannot escape these A. J. Brown trade rumors. The star wide receiver’s collapsing relationship with QB Jalen Hurts has fueled plenty of trade talk ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. One NFL insider gave his take on the situation now that the draft is just a few weeks away.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter gave yet another update on the Brown trade rumors during a recent interview.
“I think this is a case where an A.J. Brown trade remains in play,” Schefter said on Monday via The Pat McAfee Show. “I think there’s every possibility that he could be traded. It doesn’t mean it happens, but it is certainly on the table.”
Schefter explained that his stance is that Brown probably will be traded at some point this offseason.
“But I think, when all is said and done, I’d lean [towards] him being traded,” Schefter added.
