Dave Roberts reveals when Dodgers will activate Teoscar Hernandez from IL

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. “Just imagine how dangerous the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers would be if {player name} was healthy and/or productive.” The two-time reigning World Series champions own MLB’s best record and enjoy an eight-game cushion in the National League West at the midway point of the season, and one of their most reliable sluggers has not even played in the last month. That will soon change, though. Teoscar Hernandez is on his way.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the team intends to activate the Dominican outfielder off the injured list on Monday, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Hernandez had been nursing a left hamstring strain since late May, but he has looked just fine during his rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The two-time All-Star is punishing the baseball, hitting a home run in each of his three starts for the Comets. LA has seen enough. He is set to rejoin the big-league club for its upcoming series against the Athletics.
