Crystal Palace vs Everton prediction and betting tips – Eagles stuck by Toffees

Crystal Palace take on Everton in the Premier League as the season nears its end and they will both be hoping for the best possible finish with a few wins to cap it off.

But more so the Toffees who still have a small chance of getting into the top seven and therefore claim a European spot, but Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton, Chelsea, Fulham and Sunderland are all contesting the final two such places with only five points between them.

Crystal Palace vs Everton prediction

Everton have a great record against Palace, both home and away and haven’t lost against them since their 4-0 loss in the FA Cup quarter-finals back in March 2022.

In and around that time (2021-22) Everton went three games without a win but picked up another undefeated run prior to that with 14 games without a loss.

With their respective forms and Everton’s historic winning form against Palace they look a great price to get another away win and potentially even add to their clean sheet tally.

Eagles get stuck by Toffees

If you couple all those stats listed above with the fact Everton are also benefitting from not having played in Europe during the week, like Palace played out against Shakhtar Donetsk.

That might just eke out a little bit more from the Toffees who have the fresher team.

Palace won away at Shakhtar last week then went on to lose to Bournemouth 3-0 before winning against Donetsk again on Thursday evening.

Palace have dropped down to 15th but haven’t had an awful run by any means while getting into the finals of the Europa Conference League.

Everton only sit five points ahead of them but five places above.

That said, the historical form between these two sides looks too large and the Toffees remain a solid bet for a fair few reasons.

Big price for goals galore?

Everton have hit a small rut in form losing to Liverpool, West Ham but did draw against Man City in a 3-3 thriller.

They went 3-1 up but failed to hold onto that lead, but achieving that scoreline in the first place is still a good sign of things to come, they’re scoring almost every game and will cause Palace problems.

In fact they’ve scored in every game in April, and only failed to score against Arsenal away from home in March.

There’s been 19 goals in Everton’s last five games alone where they scored 10 of them.

That’s been a common theme recently, picking up only the odd clean sheet in 2026, plenty of 2-1, 1-1 and similar scorelines.

The last three fixtures between these two sides have ended 2-1, including in this fixture at Selhurst Park last year.

Other solid additions should come from over/under cards and corners, with there consistently being over 2.5 cards but rarely much higher and over 6.5 corners in this game but rarely over 9.5.

  • Back Everton to win and over 6.5 corners at 7/4 on Betfred

Important betting historical facts about Crystal Palace vs Everton

  • Crystal Palace have won just one of their last 22 Premier League games against Everton (D9 L12), and are winless in eight since a 3-1 win in December 2021 (D2 L6).
  • Everton have lost just two of their 16 Premier League away games against Crystal Palace (W8 D6), going down 1-0 in October 1994 and 3-1 in December 2021.
  • Crystal Palace have lost their last two Premier League matches, shipping three goals in both (1-3 vs Liverpool, 0-3 vs Bournemouth). The Eagles haven’t lost three in a row while conceding 3+ goals since October/November 2016.
  • Thanks to losing goals against Liverpool and West Ham, and then an equalising goal from Manchester City, Everton are the first team in Premier League history to concede a 90th minute (or later) result-altering goal in three consecutive matches.
  • Since 16 January when Oliver Glasner announced he was leaving Crystal Palace at the end of the season, Palace rank 19th for both shots (145) and shots on target (43) in the Premier League, ahead only of already relegated Burnley (132 shots, 41 on target).
  • Everton have conceded exactly two goals in each of their last four away Premier League games, though they have now gone 29 away games in a row without conceding more than twice in a game. The last time they went 30+ in a row was between December 2009 and September 2011 (32).

  • Only already relegated sides Burnley (35) and Wolves (25) have scored fewer Premier League goals than Crystal Palace this season (36). Since netting three goals in the opening 45 minutes of their 3-1 win at Spurs in March, the Eagles haven’t netted before half-time in any of their last five league games.
  • Everton manager David Moyes has won six of his eight away Premier League matches against Crystal Palace (L2) – he’s only won more away games at Aston Villa (7), while only Jürgen Klopp (8) and Pep Guardiola (7) have more away wins at Palace.
  • Thierno Barry has scored three goals as a substitute in the Premier League this season, scoring twice off the bench against Man City last time out. Only Victor Anichebe in 2011-12 (4) and Oumar Niasse in 2017- 18 (4) have scored more as a sub in a single campaign for Everton.
