Chesterfield vs Notts County predictions
These two faced off in the National League Play-Off Final where Notts County won on penalties, after 90 minutes it was 1-1, after extra time it ended 2-2 in a thrilling final where both sides ended up promoted to League Two within two seasons anyway.
Chesterfield lost that final on penalties but have completed the double over Notts County this season.
They also have been undefeated since that final loss, which required it to go to penalties for Notts County to get the better of them.

Chesterfield vs Notts County betting tips
Spireites to fire
Over/under goals looks a safe bet for this with plenty of goals being a prominent part of this fixture in recent seasons.
Chesterfield’s 2-0 win over County on Boxing Day was the first that didn’t end in both teams scoring since their 1-0 win back in February 2021 in the National League.
Over 2.5 goals has landed seven times in their last ten meetings and over 3.5 goals has been seen in 50% of their last ten fixtures.
With all on the line and Chesterfield in great form, both recently and specifically against their opposition, they are worthy favourites.
Gamechangers
Lee Bonis has 13 goals with a 51.1% shot accuracy but goal involvements from Dilan Markanday also has 13 (eight goals and five assists) also for Chesterfield and could be key in this weekend’s game.
However neither got a goal the last time these two faced each other in March, in which Ollie Norburn was sent off in the 19th minute.
Despite that, Notts County still managed to net two goals in the first half, each time levelling the scores from Chesterfield’s go-ahead goals.
Armando Dobra, Tom Naylor and Liam Mandeville netted in that 3-2 win however Bonis did net in the 2-0 victory.
Matty Platt scored in the 3-2 loss for County, with the other being an own goal, a rare goal for the defender.
Their main goal threats come from Alassana Jatta who has 14 goals and a shot accuracy as high as 62.5% and Jodi Jones, who has 12 goal involvements (eight goals and four assists).
And another key stat is the yellow cards often seen in this fixture, as many as seven yellow cards along with Ollie Norburn’s booking and second booking leading to his sending off.
There were six in the 2-0 at Chesterfield and could see even more with everything on the line in this clash.
