Doctor Steinberg is a heavy favourite to claim the Albert Bartlett, winning on his last three outings, including by eight lengths in the Grade 1 Novices’ Hurdle at Leopardstown in February.

Willie Mullins has already bagged five winners in the first three days and this could well be another to add to his tally. On board will be the leading jockey of the Festival Paul Townend, with three winners and four runners-up from 11 rides so far.

Doctor Steinberg, will renew rivalry with Kazansky from the Leopardstown meeting, as well as Paul Nolan’s thedeviluno, which adds to the jeopardy.

But if run well, the victory, let alone a top three finish is well within his grasp.
