Brooke Hogan reveals family dynamic following Hulk Hogan death

Brooke Hogan is sharing where she stands with her family following the death of WWE icon Hulk Hogan.

The mom of two has been open about her estrangement with her father, who died last year after suffering a heart attack. In a new interview with Us Weekly, Brooke shared how not speaking with her father also led to the detriment of her relationship with her mom, Linda, and brother, Nick.

“I’m always like, ‘I didn’t ask for this. Please stop bringing me into it.’ And then somehow I always get brought into it,” she explained.

“When it started to be things that weren’t true, I was like, ‘That’s not true,’” she continued. “No child wants to not have their parents. It has to be serious enough to make that decision.”

In March, Linda was vocal about how she felt after Brooke decided not to let her family in on big moments in her life. They were not present in 2022 when she married former NHL star, Steven Oleksy, nor when they welcomed twins three years later. Brooke shared with the outlet that they mistook the reasoning for her distance.

“I don’t know why a family of mine would hate me when they know my heart,” Brooke told the outlet. “It’s crazy.”

As Brooke recalled her relationship with her father, she believes that they still probably wouldn’t have been on speaking terms even if he was still alive today.

“I don’t know if we would have ever reconnected, even if he were alive, because of the mindset he was in,” Brooke said. “He would have had to have a change of mindset and a change of company. I don’t know if he was there. I don’t know if he was willing to do that.”
