Bristol City v Watford betting offer: Bet £10 and get £40 in free bets with Boyle Sports

Bristol City and Watford go head to head in the Championship on Friday night at Ashton Gate in a huge clash between two sides with playoff ambitions.

Boyle Sports are offering new customers £40 in free bets to those who place a £10 bet on any of this season’s football, an offer which can be claimed by following this link*.

Bristol City go into Friday night’s Championship meeting in high spirits after Tuesday’s 2-1 victory at Blackburn, a result that lifted them to eighth place and within four points of the play-off spots.

Gerhard Struber’s side have struggled for consistency at times this season, recording three wins and three defeats across their last seven matches, yet they remain firmly in contention for a top-six finish.

The Robins have lost just one of their previous four games, although they have not secured back-to-back victories since Boxing Day — a sequence they will be eager to end against opponents they swept aside 5-1 in the FA Cup last month.

Watford, meanwhile, will aim to return to winning ways after a 2-0 home loss to promotion-chasing Ipswich on Tuesday, a result that leaves them with just one win from their last 10 matches in all competitions ahead of the trip to the West Country.

That difficult run began with a heavy FA Cup defeat at Ashton Gate in January, following a spell of four consecutive wins, and the Hornets will be hoping to come full circle by ending their current winless streak with a positive result in Bristol.

Edward Still will oversee only his fourth game in charge of Watford, having so far recorded one win, one draw and one defeat. His side sit 12th in the table, just two points behind their hosts, and could climb into the top seven — at least temporarily — with a victory on Friday.

City will take renewed confidence from their midweek success, which moved them to within two places of the play-off positions, and they will be backed by a passionate home crowd as they continue their push for a second successive play-off challenge.

Only Sheffield Wednesday have collected fewer away wins this season than Watford, who are also winless in their last seven visits to Ashton Gate.
