Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – Best Setup for Rare Brawler
In this Brawl Stars Rosa guide, we’ll take a look at her attacks, stats, and skills and create the best build possible. Rosa is a close-ranger, high HP Brawler who can take a lot of hits and keep enemies busy. Without further ado, let’s take a look at Rosa.
Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – How To Unlock
To unlock Rosa in Brawl Stars, players can:
- Unlock her on Trophy Road when you earn 1300 trophies
- Unlock her from a Mega Box (1% chance)
You’ll most likely unlock Rosa on Trophy Road. But if you’re incredibly lucky and get a Mega Box, there’s a chance you can unlock him sooner. But overall, he’s a very easy brawler to unlock.
Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level
Rosa’s Main Attack, Hands of Stone, lets her throw three short-range, piercing punches that deal a lot of damage. While it takes a bit to unload the attack, she boasts a pretty fast reload speed
Rosa’s Super, Strong Stuff, grants her a shield that reduces all of the damage she receives for a short duration.
Furthermore, Rosa possesses a trait that lets her charge her Super whenever she receives damage.
Additionally, take a look at Rosa’s stats (These are Rosa’s stats as of May 2026. All Stats are subject to changes and may not be reflected here):

Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?
Overall, Rosa has two gadgets:
- Grow Light – “Rosa fertilizes the ground around her and bushes instantly grow to provide great cover.”
- Unfriendly Bushes – “All opponents hiding in bushes take 300 damage and get slowed down for a brief period”
Additionally, Rosa has two Star Powers:
- Plant Life – “Rosa recovers some health every second when inside a bush.”
- Thorny Gloves – “Rosa’s punches gain extra damage during her Super.”
Furthermore, Rosa can use the following gears in battle:
- Speed
- Vision
- Health
- Shield
- Damage
- Gadget Cooldown
Lastly, Rosa’s Hypercharge, Grasping Roots, lets her slow down all nearby enemies upon activating her Super.
Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup
For Gadgets, we feel like Unfriendly Bushes seems to make more of an impact on maps filled with bushes. It can slow enemies trying to reach for Gems, the Hot Zone, or the Brawl Ball. Grow Light is okay, but feels mostly situational and the bush she spawns isn’t that big. Regardless, both Gadgets aren’t effective if you play on a map with little or no bushes.
For Star Powers, we recommend Thorny Gloves because it doesn’t require Rosa to be in a bush to use. The extra damage from her Super can help her eliminate tanky enemies while she receives little damage thanks to her Super. Plant Life only works well in maps like Snake Prairie where she can use the whole map to her advantage.
For Gears, we recommend a Speed Gear as well as a Damage Gear. Since Rosa seems to utilize bushes a lot, the extra speed may help her reach the objectives faster. And if she finds herself low on health, the Damage Gear can help her out in tight situations.
Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Rosa In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)
Brawl Ball
Rosa’s high HP, ability to slow enemies with Unfriendly Bushes, and high damage output make her a great Brawler for this mode. With a Speed Gear, she’ll be tough to take down, and low DPS brawlers will struggle wiping her out. Pair her with someone who can destroy the walls by the goalpost to make scoring easier for your team.
Showdown (Solo, Duo, Trio)
Rosa’s high HP, piercing attacks, and fast movement speed make her a great Showdown Brawler. She can slow down fleeing enemies with Unfriendly Bushes, and tank hits with her Super. She’s extremely tough to take knock out if she manages to gain control of the center of the map.
Gem Grab
While I wouldn’t say she’s the best Gem Grabber, her high HP and movement speed can be useful in winning matches. Plus, she can slow enemies trying to approach the gem spawn, or her teammates, as her team tries to maintain map control. Just make sure to pair her with long-range brawlers who can back her up.
Brawl Stars Rosa Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Rosa In?
Knockout/Bounty/Wipeout
Like most close-range brawlers, Rosa struggles in these three modes. Even with her trait letting her charge her super via receiving damage, she’ll struggle to survive against high a IQ Mandy or Piper. Even if she does get close, many brawlers have methods of slowing her, stunning her, or knocking her back.
