Beginning in late December, Giddey missed 11 games due to a left hamstring strain. On April 1, Giddey didn’t play against the Indiana Pacers.

In March, both Giddey and Buzelis sustained ankle injuries in the third quarter in a 116-108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. As a result, Buzelis missed the March 5 game against the Phoenix Suns. However, Buzelis has played 76 games, whereas Giddey has played 54.

Both played on April 3 against the New York Knicks. Buzelis scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds. Giddey scored 6 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out five assists. Ultimately, the Bulls lost 136-96.

Meanwhile, the Bulls are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and are 29-49. Buzelis is averaging 16.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Giddey is averaging 17.0 points, 9.1 assists, and 8.3 rebounds per game.
