Angel Reese’s sizzling bikini-clad SI Swimsuit Issue debut goes viral

The first photos from the Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit photoshoot with WNBA star Angel Reese have surfaced, and fans are loving it.

Sports Illustrated shared the images on social media with the caption, “A dream in every sense of the word. We’ve got Angel Reese on our roster forever. Are you here for this WNBA trade? Hit the link for her SI Swimsuit debut.”

In one of the pictures, Reese is wearing a purple two-piece bikini. In another, she’s shown in a green one-piece while standing under a waterfall.

Angel Reese had “nerves” during the Sports Illustrated (SI) Swimsuit photoshoot

Reese’s debut for SI Swimsuit comes after she was traded to the Atlanta Dream. As Sports Illustrated notes in their report, Reese originally had some “nerves” during the photoshoot. Luckily, she “quickly warmed up to the camera.”

This comes around the same time as her Victoria’s Secret campaign launch. She is leading a new campaign focused on swimwear and beauty products.

Reese was just traded to the Dream by the Chicago Sky. She spent the first two years of her WNBA career with the Sky before the trade.

During her career in Chicago, Reese made the WNBA All-Star Game twice. She was also named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team in 2024. Reese has also led the league in rebounds in 2024 and 2025.

Now, she has a chance to join a contending team. The Dream finished atop the Eastern Conference during the 2025 season. Meanwhile, the Sky had 10 wins, three fewer than their total in 2024.

Reese was a standout forward while at LSU. She started her collegiate career at Maryland, where she is from. However, she transferred to LSU after the 2021-22 season.

Off the court, Reese has been expanding her portfolio. She appeared in the documentary series The Money Game: LSU, which followed the lives of athletes in the NIL (name, image, and likeness) era. Reese has also appeared in movies A House of Dynamite and Goat.
