West Ham have shown real stomach for the fight since the turn of the year and leapfrogged Tottenham in recent weeks to move the right side of the drop zone.
Home games will be important for West Ham to get over the line starting with Saturday against Everton.
The Hammers have picked up eight points from their last five league games giving themselves a huge chance of staying up.
Everton do have desires of European football to chase in the remaining matches. But Nuno Espirito Santo has helped West Ham become a tougher proposition and with safety in their grasp, I reckon this could sway it the home sides way.
Prediction: West Ham to win – 7/5
– Draw 23/10
– Everton 2/1
It really is do or die territory for Tottenham now with just five matches to save themselves from relegation to the Championship.
Wolves own relegation was confirmed last weekend after going down 3-0 to Leeds.
Spurs were moments from their first win of 2026 before Brighton scored an stoppage time equaliser. But you could see Roberto De Zerbi had begun to get his methods across to the players as they looked sharper and more rejuvenated.
Wolves haven’t lost to Spurs in six matches, but with the Lilywhites in dire need of points this could be the start of the great escape.
Prediction: Tottenham to win – 7/10
– Wolves 18/5
– Draw 7/10
Liverpool v Crystal Palace (3PM)
Crystal Palace have historically held a little bit of a hoodoo over Liverpool. Going back to 2014 and the 3-3 draw that effectively lost the Reds the title.
The Eagles have beaten Liverpool three times this season. But that was with former captain Marc Guehi in the team, before his January move to Man City.
Palace will have one eye on the Conference League semi final against Shakhtar next Thursday which could play into Liverpool’s hands here.
Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk stood up in the crucial moments in the Merseyside derby last weekend. They may need their two wily main men to do so again here.
Prediction: Liverpool to win – 9/2
– Draw 15/4
– Crystal Palace 11/2
Arsenal v Newcastle Utd (5:30PM)
Arsenal have found themselves overtaken by Man City at the top of the Premier League, albeit on goals scored, after a woeful April that hasn’t produced just one victory in al competitions.
But with two games before City play in the league again, it’s imperative Mikel Arteta’s men find the winning formula quickly.
They face one of the most out-of-form teams in the league, with Newcastle on a run of three-straight losses and in a state of flux.
Arsenal’s necessity for three points should mean they play with a lot more attacking intent and for that reason I’m going with them to get the job done on Saturday night.
Prediction: Arsenal to win – 9/20
– Draw 15/4
– Newcastle Utd 11/2
