Adam Scott is Haunted in Ireland in 'Hokum' Horror Film Teaser Trailer

Neon has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a new Irish horror film called Hokum, currently set for release in May 2026 - kicking off the summer movie season next year with something extra spooky. This is the highly anticipated follow-up from Irish director Damian McCarthy after his frightening wooden man horror Oddity from last year. An author travels to a remote part of Ireland to spread the ashes of his deceased parents, unaware that his rented accommodation – an Irish inn – could be haunted by a vengeful witch. American actor Adam Scott (who is 1/4 Irish) stars as horror writer Ohm Bauman; with David Wilmot, Austin Amelio, Florence Ordesh, Peter Coonan, Michael Patric, and Will O'Connell. Whoa!
