Aaron Donald’s most recent IG post has Rams fans thinking Myles Garrett team-up

The Los Angeles Rams had the NFL world shook after acquiring defensive end Myles Garrett in a blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns, who received linebacker Jared Verse and three future draft picks in return.

Many believe that the addition of Garrett, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, instantly made the Rams a title favorite. Los Angeles last won the Super Bowl in 2022. The team failed to advance to the ultimate round last season after losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

Now that Garrett is in the fold, fans cannot help but think that former Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald could unretire and rejoin the squad, especially with his recent video on Instagram, showing him working out at home.

“Quick work session #ad99 #ready,” wrote Donald, who won a ring with the Rams, in the caption.

Fans urged the eight-time All-Pro First Team member to team up with Garrett and form an insane defensive duo in Los Angeles.

“Hey, GOAT, I think it’s time to unretire now,” said 909_.chris_.

“Think about how uneven your hands are, having only one ring,” quipped @its.nateroo.

“You and Myles would get another ring,” added @dylan.wulf.

“I think every Ram fan was hoping for that to happen. It would be so explosive and probably the best defense ever. Way better than the Donald-Von Miller defense in 2021,” claimed @jesse101jb.

“You gotta come back, AD. Please,” commented @teflon3z.

Donald, a three-time Defensive Player of the Year, hung up his cleats in 2024, saying his passion for the game had already dissipated.

Last year, Donald teased a comeback if the Rams traded for then-Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons. Parsons ended up with the Green Bay Packers.

Following their acquisition of Garrett, Rams cornerback Jaylen Watson quickly tried to recruit Donald.
