1 player on Pistons’ Game 1 injury report vs. Cavs
The Detroit Pistons will try to sustain their momentum as they host the Cleveland Cavaliers at Little Caesars Arena on Tuesday in Game 1 of their second-round series in the playoffs.
Detroit is coming off an inspired comeback from a 3-1 deficit to oust the Orlando Magic in the opening round, with Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris, and Jalen Duren putting the finishing touches in Game 7.
The top-seeded Pistons will need all the firepower they can get versus the fourth-seeded Cavaliers, who also survived in Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors.
Pistons’ injury report vs. Cavaliers in Game 1

Detroit only has one player in the injury report. Kevin Huerter was listed as questionable due to a left adductor strain.
Huerter has not played since Game 4 versus the Magic. He only averaged 10.5 minutes in the best-of-seven clash, as coach JB Bickerstaff mostly went with Javonte Green and Caris LeVert as the wingmen off the bench.
But it was probably only because of a matchup issue. Huerter could see more minutes against the Cavaliers when he gets reactivated.
Since the Pistons acquired him in February in a trade with the Chicago Bulls, the 27-year-old has proven that he can contribute in various ways with his size, shooting, and playmaking.
He gave quality minutes as a steady reliever, averaging 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.1 steals in 20.5 minutes in 25 games with the Pistons in the regular season.
If he remains sidelined in Game 1, Green, LeVert, and Ron Holland II will likely lead the second unit against the Cavaliers.
