This is the first release in Deadbug’s growing collection of “short story” games: a full, playable experience released small by design. If players enjoy their time here in Phantom Trails, we’ll continue to expand the park and share new stories in the same spirit.
You’re stepping into the role at a critical time, Deputy. We need help restoring the trails after a nasty storm, and Lucy Falls is where you get to shine. With the park closed, you’ll be out by yourself, so stick to the notes I’ve left you and you’ll be just fine. Walk the trails, pick up the trash, and learn the history. Take the time to get to know this place at your own pace— you’ve got all day. With your map, compass, and flashlight there’s nothing that can stop you.
